Our House
After being handed down from generation to generation within the Family von Oertzen, the little gem in the county of Mecklenburg came into our hands in 2001. We had it restored in the best of traditional crafts step by step. Taking great care of the old building structure, we were able to revive the tradition of the house as a place of granted time.
Our kitchen
During the time of your stay we offer you an individual service. On request, special arrangements can be made for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even an English High Tea with scones and cucumber sandwiches. We will be able to serve you fresh and delicious meals using local ingredients including excellent venison specialities and tender zander from the Galenbeck Lake.
Your private celebration
Larger family celebrations like jubilees and weddings can be held at our place. The very special atmosphere at the manor house will add a festive, romantic note to your special day. Wedding ceremonies can take place in the nearby 13th-century chapel. And best of all: the person celebrating or the bridal couple and their closest circle of family and friends can easily find accommodation at our manor house.
